Halo: Unggoy Evolved Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Sneaky Sneaky

Meanwhile, inside of the large banana-shaped rock, Pillow and Piggyback were enjoying a nice cup of salt water (which was found on the banks of a nearby river).
"Nice play ya got here. How long have you lived here?", Pillow asked, setting his stone cup ontop of a table made entirely out of, you guessed it, rocks.
"Nine months, to be precise. However, i've been on this ring for nearly a year!", replied Piggyback. " 'Ring'?", asked Pillow.
"Indeed", continued Piggyback, "You see, when I first arrived, the place was deserted from what I could see. It was not until a month later when I traveled a large majority of this place. Clearly, I was the only creature on this ring. That is of course until you arrived. Anyway, after several months living of living in this rock, I studied the outline of this place. My overall assumption boiled down to this: the planet is ring-shaped; quite possibly one of the sacred rings that the Prophets have spoken of."
"And what led you to believe that?", Pillow said sarcastically. "It's just simply a hunch so far.", replied Piggyback.
Just then, a loud bursting of flames came outside. The two Grunts quickly ran outside, and as they looked into the blue sky, a lifeboat came crashing down a few feet away from their position.
The two of them crawled back into the crescent-shaped stone, and just barely peaked outside. A few moments later, two UNSC marines walked outside of the pod-shaped aircraft, stretching their arms out.
"Woo! We made it.", the marine said.
Suddenly, a small blue flame flew straight onto the marine's head. "Dude, what's that on your head?", asked the marine. "Huh? What are you talkin' abo-"
The grenade exploded, and the marine flew high into the air and then fell onto the grassy terrain, dead. The explosion also caused the other marine to fly backward, and into the back of the pod, knocking his head on the wall. The soldier was now unconscious.
"Whoah, nice one Piggy! Where'd you get those?", exclaimed Pillow.
"Luckily, these plasma grenades were still in my possession when I landed here.", Piggyback said. Just then, another lifeboat came crashing down near their position. Three seconds later, the door of the pod busted down, and the two Unggoy were ready for any enemy that came their way......just as long as they still had some plasma grenades.
